Our Ambition
We believe Bloomsbury Football has a powerful product: football that transforms lives.
In just six years, we’ve grown from an idea into a movement reaching 6,000 young people every week — and we’re only just getting started. By 2028, we aim to reach 20,000 young people in London every week at which point we will have the operating model, brand credibility and network of partners to go national.
As Director of Programmes, your mission is to design and deliver the engine that powers that growth. You’ll be the architect of our football programmes — creating experiences that are not just scalable, but unforgettable. You’ll lead the development, execution, and continuous optimisation of what we offer on the pitch, ensuring every session meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and impact.
Your role is part Chief Product Officer, part operational strategist, part cultural leader. You’ll embed a high-performance environment that enables our teams to deliver at scale, while never compromising on the values that set us apart. You’ll shape a product that young people love, parents trust, and partners are proud to support.
You’ll work hand-in-hand with delivery and operations teams, turning strategic ambition into day-to-day excellence. You’ll ensure our programmes drive revenue, engagement, and long-term growth — all while staying relentlessly focused on outcomes for the young people we serve.
You don’t need to be a football expert, but you do need to care deeply about what the game can do — to unlock confidence, build community, and change lives. You’ll bring operational discipline, data-informed decision making, and a passion for impact that energises those around you.
This is a rare opportunity to lead the next chapter of a game-changing organisation — and help ensure no young person is left behind because of where they’re from or what they can afford.
